How has CLIP2go saved you money?

 

If you are referring to “time is money”  then yes.  We were at the point in which we needed to hire a full time staff person or convert to a paperless system.  We opted to with the c2gw because it provided many benefits over our old routing software. Electronic  time clock, seamless job-costing etc.

 

 

How has CLIP2go increased your route efficiency?

 

 We allow Mappoint to generate most efficient routes inside of CLIP, and the crews have all followed the routes without resistance.  I have not verified fuel savings due to the increase in fuel this year (of course the fuel bill is out of control as compared with previous years) but I am confident the compacted routes are helping keep mileage at a minimum.

 

 

How was the transition and start up with CLIP2go?

 

Fairly easy, I bought all the items at one time, and slowly integrated them.  I beta tested one unit myself for a few weeks before handing any PDAs out so any questions that arouse I could answer more effectively to the crews.

 

 

Is CLIP2go worth the investment?

 

Don’t tell them this, but I would pay more than they charge.

How did the training take place?

 

I was rather familiar with info needed to operate the program, as I converted from QXpress.  I watched some of the recorded webinars on the CLIP website, and the tech team always gets back to me via phone or email right away if I have a questions, comment.  I have not taken any of the training classes as of yet, but they are available as well.

 

 

We are primarily a landscape management firm (mowing, lawn treatments, irrigation maintenance, landscape maintenance) outfit,  the c2gw with program and rounds has worked great.  We can enter everything from chemical quantity to sprinkler heads used, as well as job times, payroll etc. and the crews are doing all the office work for us, they link back, we verify, we bill.
